Overview: Join a dedicated team providing expert nursing care in a specialized chest pain unit during night shifts. This role involves planning and delivering professional nursing services aligned with established healthcare policies, with opportunities to assume charge nurse duties.

Key Responsibilities: Provide compassionate care to cardiac patients, including pre- and post-operative support and stress testing. Maintain effective communication and organizational skills while managing a patient load typically ranging from 4 to 5 patients per nurse in a 16-bed unit.

Education & Certifications: Must hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Experience & Skills: Minimum of one year nursing experience required; cardiac nursing experience preferred. Background in emergency department or intensive care unit settings is considered a plus. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are essential. Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, bending, and occasional exposure to infectious materials.
