Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify care needs and develop appropriate care plans.
• Organize, implement, and evaluate patient care effectively to ensure safety and quality.
• Serve as charge nurse when assigned, overseeing unit operations and patient care coordination.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Recognize and respond promptly to life-threatening situations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and support cultural and spiritual needs within medical guidelines.
• Participate actively in cost containment and accurate patient service charging.

Education and Experience

• Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in a Compact state or the relevant state.
• Minimum of one year experience in progressive care nursing.

Physical Requirements

Licenses and Certifications
