Overview: Join a compassionate healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant I on a Medical Surgical unit, working full-time day shifts. This role involves providing essential patient care, observing and reporting changes in patient conditions, and maintaining a clean and well-stocked environment to support patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient admissions, including orientation to unit routines and equipment.
• Respond promptly to patient needs through direct assistance or by communicating with appropriate staff.
• Support the nursing care plan by performing delegated patient care tasks.
• Ensure patient safety by properly using equipment and supplies.
• Manage medication and supply retrieval for patient care.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the patient environment.
• Participate in cost containment and accurate patient service charging.
• Engage in educational and performance improvement activities.
• Perform waived testing and maintain required skills per unit competency.
• Demonstrate commitment to customer satisfaction and efficient patient throughput.

Education and Certifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Current registration with the appropriate state nursing assistant registry.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Experience and Skills:

• Strong guest relations and communication skills.
• Ability to read and write English effectively.
