Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations across inpatient and outpatient environments and develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans
• Deliver hands-on therapeutic interventions targeting mobility, neuromuscular function, strength, and balance
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team — including physicians, nurses, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation specialists — to drive optimal patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through treatment goals, home exercise programming, and discharge expectations
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient progression per facility and regulatory standards
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care conferences to support seamless, coordinated recovery

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Active Physical Therapist licensure in the state of North Carolina (or eligibility to obtain)
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialty certifications such as neurological or geriatric rehabilitation are welcomed but not required

Skills

• Prior clinical experience in an inpatient or outpatient rehabilitation setting strongly preferred
