Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including detailed physical assessments and comprehensive reviews of medical and surgical histories
• Support the diagnostic process by interpreting laboratory findings, imaging studies, and other clinical data in collaboration with attending surgeons
• Participate actively in the development and implementation of individualized surgical care plans
• Provide skilled intraoperative assistance, including patient preparation, sterile instrument handling, and direct procedural support throughout surgical cases
• Manage pre- and post-operative patient care with excellence — including wound assessment, medication oversight, discharge coordination, and patient and family education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program required
• Clinical rotation experience with a surgical concentration is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C national certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Valid North Carolina state licensure or confirmed eligibility to obtain licensure
