Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work alongside surgeons in developing and implementing tailored surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide essential intraoperative assistance, including preparing surgical settings, ensuring proper patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments during procedures
• Exhibit excellent pre- and post-operative care, including medication administration, wound care, discharge planning, and providing patient education.

Educational Background

• Master's degree from an accredited PA program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a strong emphasis on surgical practices is highly preferred

Required Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
