Education: Must hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Experience: At least one year of Operating Room experience is required to apply. For those new to the OR, an exclusive Perioperative 101 Residency program is available, offered biannually in February and July, to help you gain essential skills and confidence.

Skills and Abilities: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. Ability to organize and lead effectively. Knowledge of age-specific physiological, psychosocial, developmental, and spiritual patient needs is important.
