The CT Assistant is skilled in performing all radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures essential for diagnosing various diseases and conditions. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care, adapting to the developmental needs of patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics.

Education and Formal Training

Graduation from an accredited radiologic sciences program is required. Candidates must be ARRT (Radiography) registered or registry eligible. Current AHA BLS certification is also necessary.

Experience

A minimum of two years of relevant experience is preferred. New graduates who are ARRT registered or registry eligible are encouraged to apply; however, those registry eligible must obtain ARRT Radiography registration within twelve months of hire.

Requirements

Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, are essential. The candidate should demonstrate excellent patient care abilities and a solid understanding of growth and development across all age groups. Experience interacting effectively with patients of all ages, including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, is important.
