This full-time day position involves examining and treating patients referred for physical therapy, contributing to enhanced patient outcomes and supporting the mission and values of the department.

Education

Must hold a valid Physical Therapy license from the appropriate state board.

Experience and Requirements

• CPR training will be provided during orientation and must be maintained throughout employment.
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills are essential to assess situations quickly and respond appropriately.
• Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
• FIM credentialing must be obtained within the first 45 days of employment, requiring a minimum proficiency score of 80%, with up to three attempts allowed.
• All clinical staff must complete Evacuation Training and training in Restraint, Seclusion, and Safety Devices.
• Effective communication skills, including oral, written, and visual assessment of patient status, are required.
• Physical demands include the ability to transfer and transport patients of varying body weights, and to frequently stand, bend, stoop, lift, turn, twist, sit, and walk.
• Must demonstrate proper use and manipulation of equipment and utilize correct body mechanics during patient care.
