Join a dedicated healthcare team in a vibrant regional setting in the Southeastern United States. This full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role supports ambulatory clinic operations by providing compassionate nursing care under the guidance of office managers and physicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in patient assessments and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Deliver direct nursing care tailored to patients' age-specific physiological needs, following established care protocols.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient care records and administer medications as prescribed.
• Ensure a safe clinical environment and respond promptly to life-threatening situations.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold required competencies.
• Foster positive relationships with healthcare staff and support patients' cultural and spiritual practices within medical guidelines.
• Contribute to cost containment efforts and accurate patient service documentation.

Education and Training

High school diploma or equivalent required. Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a Compact state or the relevant regional licensure is mandatory.

Experience

No prior work experience required; however, strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Skills and Abilities

• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Understanding of age-specific physiological and psychosocial patient needs.
• Physical stamina for prolonged standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Ability to safely handle exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials.

Certifications

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
