Join a dedicated healthcare team providing compassionate nursing care in a regional cancer center located in the Southeastern United States. This full-time day position involves planning and delivering professional nursing care aligned with established policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients to determine care needs and develop appropriate care plans.
• Organize, implement, and evaluate patient care effectively.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff.
• Serve as charge nurse when assigned, overseeing nursing activities.
• Accurately document patient care and administer medications as prescribed.
• Recognize and respond promptly to life-threatening situations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
• Participate in cost containment and accurate patient service billing.
• Adapt care to meet age-specific physiological, psychosocial, and spiritual needs.
• Support patients' cultural and spiritual practices within medical guidelines.

Education and Experience

• Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in a Compact state or the state of practice.
• No prior work experience required; new graduates encouraged to apply.

• Knowledge of developmental, physiological, psychosocial, and spiritual patient needs.

Physical Requirements

Licenses and Certifications

• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
