Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Assistant Nurse Manager to lead and coordinate clinical operations within a busy medical surgical telemetry unit. This role involves overseeing daily activities, managing resources, and ensuring high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment located in the Southeastern United States region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and supervise clinical operations to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures that support service delivery.
• Foster positive professional relationships with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families.
• Lead team meetings, daily rounds, and facilitate clear communication among all stakeholders.
• Coordinate patient care services with other departments and community resources.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as JCAHO and OSHA.
• Maintain adequate staffing levels and ensure staff competency in equipment use.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and quality control activities.
• Provide orientation, ongoing training, and continuing education for staff members.
• Manage departmental budgets and contribute to strategic planning.
• Collaborate with care coordination teams to optimize patient throughput and discharge processes.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and hospital functional capacity through innovation projects.

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required or actively pursuing.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience relevant to the management area and at least 1 year in a management or related leadership role.

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the United States.
• Strong leadership skills with knowledge of budgeting, staffing, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Understanding of nurse practice acts and age-specific patient care needs.
• Physical ability to perform duties including prolonged standing, walking, bending, and occasional heavy lifting.
