Join a dedicated emergency medical team providing critical pre-hospital care across the Southeastern United States region. This part-time role requires at least one year of field EMS or rescue experience, along with completion of NIMS 100, 200, and 700 courses. Maintaining all certifications continuously during employment is essential.

Education & Certifications

• Completion of NIMS 100, 200, and 700 courses
• Current valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• All EMS certifications must be kept current throughout employment

Experience & Skills

• Minimum one year of field EMS or related rescue work experience
• Thorough knowledge of emergency medical procedures, rescue techniques, hazardous material incidents, and pre-hospital care equipment
• Proficient with communications equipment used in emergency response
• Ability to navigate and understand regional landmarks, care centers, and nursing homes within six months of employment
• Calm and professional demeanor under high-stress situations
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact compassionately with patients, families, and healthcare personnel
• Ability to safely operate all types of ambulance vehicles and follow emergency vehicle driving protocols
• Physical capability to lift and move at least 100 pounds regularly, with occasional lifting up to 150 pounds, including patient transfers between beds, floors, chairs, and stretchers
• Knowledge of age-specific physiological, psychosocial, developmental, and spiritual patient needs
