Summary

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, non-standardized work environment.
• Apply social work principles and best practices to support patients and families from diverse social, economic, and cultural backgrounds.
• Establish rapport and build trust with patients and their families through effective communication and empathy.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, including physicians and department staff, to achieve quality outcomes and comply with regulatory standards.
• Utilize electronic health records and various computer programs, including Microsoft Office, to document and communicate effectively.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of one year of behavioral or mental health experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
• Experience with crisis intervention for both children and adults is preferred.

Requirements
