We are seeking a dedicated Advanced Lead Paramedic to oversee emergency medical services operations within a regional healthcare setting in the Southeastern United States. This role involves supervising EMS resources dispatched to designated areas, ensuring readiness of personnel and equipment, and maintaining compliance with departmental policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise EMS staff and resources in assigned geographic zones.
• Maintain operational readiness of personnel and emergency equipment.
• Evaluate staff performance collaboratively with leadership and medical directors.
• Serve in command roles during mass casualty events or extended operations.
• Assume Paramedic Supervisor duties as needed.

Education and Certifications:

• Current Paramedic certification by the relevant state authority.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Completion of NIMS courses 100, 200, 300, 400, 700, and 800, with 300/400 required within six months of assignment.

Experience and Requirements:

• Minimum of two years experience as a Paramedic.
• At least three years licensed driving experience.
• Thorough knowledge of emergency medical procedures, rescue techniques, hazardous materials incidents, and pre-hospital care equipment.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local ambulance system regulations.
• Familiarity with regional geography and ability to navigate rapidly under stress.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and supervisory skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure and maintain department leadership during emergencies.
• Physical ability to operate emergency vehicles, lift heavy objects up to 150 pounds with assistance, and work in confined spaces.
