Description

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations across inpatient and/or outpatient settings and develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans
• Deliver targeted physical therapy interventions designed to improve mobility, strength, coordination, balance, and functional independence
• Partner closely with physicians, nursing staff, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals to drive optimal patient outcomes
• Provide clear, compassionate education to patients and their families regarding therapeutic goals, home exercise programs, and safe discharge transitions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and treatment records in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
• Actively contribute to interdisciplinary care conferences and rounds to support a cohesive, patient-centered care model

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent qualifying degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in North Carolina (or eligibility to obtain)
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialty certifications in areas such as geriatrics, orthopedics, or neurology are welcomed but not required

Skills

• Prior clinical experience is strongly preferred, though passionate new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Demonstrated ability to work with patients presenting complex medical and musculoskeletal conditions
• Excellent interpersonal communication and collaborative team skills
