Role Responsibilities

• Deliver full-spectrum, continuous care to patients of all ages — from newborns and adolescents to working adults and seniors.

• Perform thorough physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic studies, and craft individualized care plans grounded in evidence and empathy.
• Work collaboratively alongside behavioral health clinicians, care coordinators, and specialty providers to ensure truly integrated, whole-person care.
• Drive meaningful participation in quality improvement programs and value-based care initiatives.
• Maintain detailed, accurate clinical documentation using the practice's electronic medical record system.
• Extend care access through both in-person and telehealth visits to meet patients where they are.

Education Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Successful completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program.

Certifications

• Board Certification in Family Medicine (ABFM or AOBFP).
• Active North Carolina medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
