Job Description

• Analyze imaging studies and laboratory findings to support the diagnosis and workup of surgical conditions
• Work in close partnership with attending surgeons to develop individualized, evidence-based treatment and operative plans
• Actively support surgical procedures by managing room preparation, confirming patient positioning, and providing skilled instrument assistance throughout cases
• Oversee high-quality pre- and post-operative care including medication management, wound assessment, discharge coordination, and meaningful patient and family education

Education

• Master's degree from a nationally accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical training with a surgical rotation emphasis is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification through NCCPA
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Valid North Carolina PA licensure or demonstrated eligibility to obtain licensure
