• Evaluate test findings for precision, resolve discrepancies, and perform regular maintenance and calibration on diagnostic equipment.
• Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, assist in training new staff or interns, and contribute to maintaining high standards of lab quality.
• Ensure a hygienic and secure workplace adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Academic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or related allied health field along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Needed

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be acquired within your first year of employment.
• Ongoing maintenance of certification is essential throughout your time here.
