ER & Med/Surg Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or college/university
• Current State Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Experience in Med / Surg nursing preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply

ER & Med/Surg Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough evaluations of patients' health, including physical exams and health history reviews. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Provide prompt and effective care in emergency situations, managing acute conditions and coordinating with emergency response teams.
• Administer treatments and medications, monitor patient progress, and adjust care plans as necessary in a Med/Surg setting.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies to support recovery and health management.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including progress notes and treatment plans.
