What You’ll Be Doing

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and creating individualized care strategies
• Diagnosing and treating various acute, episodic, or chronic health issues in partnership with physicians or autonomously (dependent on credentialing)
• Providing education to patients and their families on prevention, wellness, and effective disease management
• Prescribing necessary medications and therapies within your designated scope of practice

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of New Jersey
