Qualifications

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or actively in progress

Licensure & Certifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of New Jersey, or compact licensure eligible for endorsement
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required or must be obtained within a defined onboarding period
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) credential welcomed

Experience

• Minimum of one year of acute care RN experience in an emergency department or comparable high-acuity clinical setting required
