You’ll care for a wide range of patients recovering from surgical procedures and medical conditions, including those in urology, thoracic surgery, bariatrics, colorectal surgery, and surgical oncology. Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an NLN-accredited School of Nursing
Active NJ RN License in good standing
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
ACLS or PALS may be required depending on specialty assignment
Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
Previous experience in med-surg or step-down/intermediate care preferred

Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality care to patients with complex surgical and medical needs
Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient conditions
Administer medications and treatments safely and efficiently
Document all care activities accurately in the EMR
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including providers, care managers, and leadership
Participate in cross-training and performance improvement initiatives
Work three 12-hour night shifts per week in a 30-bed, single-room unit
