Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients in inpatient and outpatient settings to create tailored treatment strategies
• Deliver specialized physical therapy interventions focusing on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, physicians, and case managers, to ensure the best patient outcomes
• Teach patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, discharge procedures, and at-home exercise regimens
• Keep meticulous records of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress following facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure unified and coordinated patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a related degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Valid state license as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialized certifications, such as in neurological or geriatric fields, may also be beneficial but are not mandatory
