Clinical RN / Registered Nursing Supervisor – Hospital Nursing Operations 

Schedule: Full-Time | Rotating Shifts

This full-time position is perfect for nurses seeking a balance between direct patient care and hands-on clinical leadership in a hospital setting. 

Your Key Responsibilities 

• Lead day-to-day clinical operations and act as a shift leader for assigned nursing units 
• Collaborate with department directors, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to streamline workflows 
• Provide real-time support for clinical decision-making, patient triage, and urgent care interventions 
• Oversee staff assignments, patient throughput, and resource allocation for optimal unit function 
• Monitor and coach nurses on adherence to safety, infection control, and evidence-based care standards 
• Participate in patient experience rounding and initiate service recovery when needed 
• Respond to and manage emergency events including Rapid Response and Code Blue 
• Help onboard, mentor, and evaluate new staff; assist with continuing education initiatives 
• Document shift-based observations and ensure accurate handoff communication during transitions 

Required Qualifications 

Education: 

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred) 

Licensure & Certifications: 

• Active RN license in New Mexico (or compact eligible) 
• BLS required 
• ACLS required (or within 6 months of hire) 
• Additional certifications (PALS, NRP, TNCC, CPI) as required by department 

Experience: 

• Minimum of 3 years of clinical RN experience preferred 
• Prior experience in charge nurse or clinical leadership role is a plus 

Skills & Attributes: 

• Strong organizational and time management skills 
• Ability to lead, motivate, and coach clinical teams 
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and conflict resolution abilities 
• Comfortable with EMR systems and hospital documentation tools
