MLR is excited to welcome a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to our client’s dedicated Labor and Delivery team. This position, based in a vibrant community, focuses on providing exceptional care to expectant mothers, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for both the mother and newborn.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and assess patients throughout labor and delivery, tracking vital signs and fetal heart rates to ensure optimal safety.
Administer direct patient care, including medications, pain relief, and assistance with deliveries.
Educate patients and their families on the labor and delivery process, care options, and essential postpartum care.
Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth and positive birth experience.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient information throughout all stages of labor and delivery.
Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies or complications, following established protocols.
Ensure a clean, safe environment by adhering to infection control guidelines and hospital standards.

Qualifications:

Active New Mexico RN license (required).
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Required certifications: BLS and ACLS.
Strong clinical expertise with the ability to stay calm and focused under pressure.
Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
