Description

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations across inpatient and outpatient environments and develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans
• Deliver physical therapy interventions targeting mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional independence
• Work alongside interdisciplinary care teams — including physicians, nursing staff, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation specialists — to drive optimal patient outcomes
• Provide clear, meaningful education to patients and their families regarding therapeutic goals, home exercise programs, and discharge planning strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, session notes, and progress reports in alignment with facility protocols and state regulations
• Actively participate in care rounds and interdisciplinary conferences to ensure continuity and coordination of care across the care continuum

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Nevada (or eligibility to obtain)
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialty certifications in areas such as neurological rehabilitation, geriatrics, or orthopedics are welcomed but not required
