• Conduct various ultrasound examinations such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure patient comfort and safety, clearly communicating each procedure with understanding and kindness
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly addressing any operational issues
• Accurately document procedures and maintain electronic medical records
• Keep up to date with advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry standards

Education Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Necessary Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
