Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of their medical histories
• Aid in diagnosing surgical conditions by analyzing imaging studies and lab results
• Work in tandem with surgeons to devise and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide vital intraoperative assistance, such as preparing surgical environments, ensuring proper patient positioning, and managing instrument transfers during operations
• Administer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, detailing medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Required Education

• Master’s degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practice is highly favored

Certifications

• Unrestricted PA-C certification currently in force
• BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
