Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:

• Preparing and organizing the operating room to assist in surgical procedures
• Safeguarding sterile fields and complying with all infection control standards
• Passing instruments and supplies to surgeons and assisting personnel during operations
• Overseeing surgical tools and equipment management before, during, and post-procedure
• Monitoring inventory of supplies to ensure readiness for each case
• Collaborating effectively with nurses, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team for optimal patient care
• Accurately documenting surgical counts and other necessary records

Education Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited program in Surgical Technology
• High school diploma or equivalent qualifications required

Certifications Needed:

• Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification required
• BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment)
