What You Will Be Doing

• Execute routine and complex clinical laboratory analyses spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, coagulation, and microbiology disciplines in alignment with established protocols.
• Review and interpret test results for validity, troubleshoot instrument malfunctions, and carry out scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration procedures.
• Support specimen collection workflows and prepare biological samples for downstream analysis when required.
• Maintain thorough, accurate documentation of all laboratory procedures while contributing to onboarding and training of incoming staff and clinical students.
• Uphold a safe, organized, and regulation-compliant lab environment consistent with all applicable accreditation standards.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a closely related allied health discipline is required; equivalent combinations of education and ASCP or AMT certification readiness will be considered.

Certification Requirements

• Active ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science must be obtained within one year of the hire date.
• Continued maintenance of certification is required as a condition of ongoing employment.
