Qualifications

Education

• Formal training in cardiovascular or vascular sonography through an accredited program; degree or diploma as applicable to credentialing pathway

Licensure & Certifications

Required:

• Active registration through one of the following credentialing bodies:
  • ARDMS: Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
  • CCI: Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment

Preferred:

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred, to be obtained within 6 months of employment

Experience

• Clinical experience in cardiovascular and/or peripheral vascular disease is preferred
• New graduates who hold the required ARDMS or CCI credential are encouraged to apply
