Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join an expanding team of imaging professionals committed to delivering top-notch care. You will utilize advanced ultrasound technology to conduct diagnostic procedures, work alongside a collaborative group of clinicians, and offer patients peace of mind through accurate and timely imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, ensuring clear and empathetic communication at each stage
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to yield high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and manage imaging equipment, promptly addressing any malfunctions
• Maintain meticulous records and document procedures within the electronic medical records system
• Keep up with developments in ultrasound imaging techniques and adhere to best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent certifying body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
