Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations including comprehensive physical examinations and in-depth reviews of medical and surgical histories
• Interpret laboratory findings and diagnostic imaging to support the assessment and diagnosis of surgical conditions
• Partner directly with attending surgeons to develop individualized treatment plans and guide patients through the surgical process
• Offer hands-on intraoperative assistance including patient positioning, OR preparation, and precise instrument handling throughout procedures
• Manage pre- and post-operative patient care encompassing wound management, medication oversight, discharge coordination, and patient and family education

Education

• Master's degree from a fully accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotation experience with a concentration in surgical subspecialties strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification through NCCPA
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Active Ohio state licensure or documented eligibility to obtain licensure
