MRI Technologist Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Accurately position patients and select appropriate imaging techniques to ensure optimal results.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout the scanning process, especially in high-anxiety situations.
• Operate and troubleshoot MRI equipment, ensuring all safety and quality standards are met.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely entry of imaging data into the electronic health record (EHR).
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care.

MRI Technologist Qualifications:

• ARRT (MR) certification required, or ARRT (R) with eligibility for MRI registry.
• State licensure, if required by location.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with patients of all ages.
• Experience with advanced imaging protocols and contrast media administration is a plus.
