MLR is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT/CRT) to join our team and help improve lives through expert respiratory therapy. As a key member of our collaborative care team, you’ll make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes by delivering high-quality, compassionate care.

Respiratory Care Qualifications

• Current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Active state license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist
• Skilled in the use of respiratory care equipment and diagnostic tools
• Strong understanding of respiratory therapy techniques, procedures, and patient care protocols

Respiratory Therapist Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients’ respiratory function through assessments and medical history reviews
• Develop and execute individualized respiratory care plans based on clinical assessments and physician orders
• Deliver therapeutic treatments such as oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and ventilator management
• Conduct and interpret arterial blood gas (ABG) tests, adjusting care plans as needed
• Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory health, equipment use, and home care
• Maintain and sanitize equipment to ensure safe, effective operation
