Responsibilities

• Perform general diagnostic medical sonography examinations using ultrasound equipment, consistently producing images that meet or exceed SDMS quality guidelines and Ohio Department of Health standards
• Document detailed sonographer's impressions for each study and ensure departmental supply inventory remains appropriately stocked
• Enter orders accurately and navigate the facility's clinical systems, including Meditech, Chartmaxx, and iSite
• Participate in patient scheduling workflows and contribute to on-call rotation coverage
• Support the clinical rotation of diagnostic imaging students and assist in onboarding and training newly hired staff members
• Attend a minimum of 75% of monthly departmental meetings (9 scheduled per year)
• Carry out additional departmental duties as assigned in support of the imaging team's broader operational goals

Qualifications

Education

• Associate's Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Radiologic Technology required

Licensure & Certifications

• Active ARDMS or ARRT (Sonography) credential required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• RQI compliance maintained per organizational standards

Experience

• Demonstrated hands-on proficiency operating diagnostic ultrasound equipment and generating high-quality sonographic images
• Familiarity with clinical information systems in an imaging environment is beneficial

Preferred Skills
