Description

• Assess patients in either inpatient or outpatient formats and design personalized treatment plans
• Implement physical therapy techniques aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts for optimal outcomes
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, discharge strategies, and home exercise initiatives
• Document evaluations, treatments, and progress adhering to facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions to assure coordinated patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent credential from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
