MRI Technologist – ARRT

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans following physician orders and established protocols
• Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring their safety and comfort
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, adhering to safety regulations
• Monitor patients during procedures, providing clear communication and reassurance
• Assess image quality and collaborate with radiologists for accurate diagnoses
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology or a related field
• Current ARRT (MR) certification or equivalent (registry-eligible candidates must obtain certification within one year of hire)
• Active, unencumbered Oregon MRI license (new graduates must obtain a permanent license within one year)
• BLS certification required
• ARRT RT(R) credential preferred
• Prior experience in a hospital setting is a plus
• Strong knowledge of MRI equipment operation, safety protocols, and imaging techniques
