Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations including comprehensive physical examinations and in-depth review of medical and surgical histories
• Interpret diagnostic imaging, laboratory findings, and clinical data to support surgical assessment and planning
• Collaborate directly with attending surgeons to develop individualized treatment strategies tailored to each patient's needs
• Offer skilled intraoperative assistance — from room preparation and patient positioning to hands-on instrument handling throughout procedures
• Manage all aspects of perioperative patient care, encompassing medication protocols, wound management, discharge coordination, and thorough patient and family education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotation experience with a focus in surgical specialties is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification through NCCPA
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• Valid state licensure as a Physician Assistant, or demonstrated eligibility to obtain licensure
