Job Description

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations through comprehensive physical exams and in-depth medical history assessments.
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting lab results and imaging studies effectively.
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for each patient.
• Provide crucial intraoperative support by preparing operating rooms, positioning patients correctly, and seamlessly transferring surgical instruments during procedures.
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, ensuring meticulous medication management, wound care, discharge plans, and patient education.

Education

• Master’s degree awarded from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Previous clinical rotations with a focus on surgical care strongly preferred.

Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification is required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications necessary.
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant.
