About the Role

• Execute a broad range of ultrasound studies including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts examinations
• Guide patients through each stage of their procedure with professionalism, empathy, and clear communication
• Work in close collaboration with radiologists and care teams to produce diagnostically superior imaging results
• Perform routine maintenance on ultrasound equipment and escalate technical concerns in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate, thorough documentation of all procedures within the facility's electronic health record platform
• Actively engage in continuing education to stay current with evolving imaging standards and emerging technologies

Educational Background

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related allied health field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is strongly preferred

Required Certifications

• Active ARDMS certification (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) or recognized equivalent credential
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
