We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to join our surgical team in Reedsport, Oregon. In this important role, you will help prepare the operating room, maintain a sterile field during surgeries, and provide support to the surgical team. Your contributions will ensure that our patients receive safe, efficient, and effective care during their procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room by ensuring all instruments, supplies, and equipment are sterile and properly arranged
• Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures, assisting the surgical team by passing instruments and materials
• Perform surgical counts before, during, and after surgeries to ensure instruments are accounted for
• Assist with patient positioning and prepping the surgical site
• Clean and restock the operating room after each surgery
• Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and sterile environment
• Accurately document surgical counts and patient data in medical records
• Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to provide excellent patient care

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, aseptic techniques, and operating room procedures
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
