Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations using standardized tools and clinical observation.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that address communication, fluency, voice, language, cognition, and swallowing disorders.
• Deliver evidence-based, one-on-one therapy interventions tailored to each patient's unique goals and lived experience.
• Partner with a multidisciplinary team including occupational therapists, physical therapists, physicians, nursing staff, and social workers to ensure integrated, patient-centered care.
• Provide thorough education to patients and their families or caregivers to reinforce therapeutic progress between sessions.
• Support inpatient evaluations and interventions as needed, maintaining seamless continuity of care across settings.
• Complete accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with organizational, state, and federal standards.
• Pursue ongoing professional development through continuing education, peer collaboration, and clinical mentorship opportunities.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification has not yet been obtained.

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Pennsylvania.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
