• Deliver focused speech therapy interventions that enhance communication skills including language, fluency, voice, and the swallowing process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, and physicians to cultivate comprehensive care strategies.
• Provide education for patients and their families to foster progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Occasionally assist in inpatient evaluations and therapies, ensuring seamless care transition throughout the recovery journey.
• Document patient progress meticulously in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Continue professional growth by engaging in ongoing education and collaborative practice.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) leading to ASHA certification is required.

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
