Job Duties

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical assessments and comprehensive health history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab results effectively
• Work in tandem with surgeons to design and execute tailored surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide essential intraoperative support, preparing operating rooms, positioning patients, and passing instruments as needed
• Ensure exceptional pre-operative and post-operative care, encompassing medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Required Education

• Master’s degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practices is highly desirable

Certifications Required

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
