• Conduct an array of ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during examinations, ensuring each step is explained with kindness and clarity
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists and referring healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Utilize and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting malfunctions
• Meticulously document procedures and keep patient records up-to-date within the electronic medical system
• Remain up-to-date with the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and practices

 

Educational Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly preferred

 

Certification Requirements

• Valid certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus
