What You Will Be Doing

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies, and developing individualized treatment plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, and chronic health conditions, independently or in collaboration with physicians based on credentialing
• Guiding patients and their families through education on prevention, wellness strategies, and disease self-management
• Prescribing medications and therapeutic interventions within your full scope of practice
• Maintaining active involvement in follow-up care and long-term chronic disease management
• Partnering with interdisciplinary clinical teams to deliver coordinated, whole-person care
• Keeping detailed, accurate documentation within electronic medical record platforms

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from a nationally accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of South Dakota (or eligibility to obtain)
• National board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C via AANP or ANCC) or recognized specialty equivalent
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
