Job Description

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients’ needs and create individualized therapy strategies to help them achieve their personal functional goals.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to assist in improving patients’ motor abilities, cognitive functions, and daily living tasks.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive and holistic patient care.
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Guide patients and their families on therapeutic methods to maintain progress outside the clinical environment.
• Assess and Document Progress: Monitor and record clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure patients remain on track.

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Continuing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported.

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
