Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations using a combination of standardized tools and skilled clinical observation.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that address both near-term therapeutic goals and long-range needs related to communication, cognition, and swallowing.
• Deliver focused, evidence-based interventions targeting articulation, language, fluency, voice, and dysphagia management.
• Partner with an interdisciplinary care team — including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and social workers — to ensure seamless, whole-person care.
• Educate patients and their support networks on strategies that reinforce therapy progress between sessions.
• Participate in inpatient evaluations and interventions as needed to support continuity across care settings.
• Complete timely, precise clinical documentation in alignment with all applicable regulatory and organizational standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a culture of clinical learning and peer mentorship.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a regionally or nationally accredited program.
• Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) may be completed under supervision if ASHA certification is still pending.

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in good standing.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first 30 days of hire.
